When we moved into our house 4+ years ago my nephew and my brother-in-law both one day apart experienced someone trying to touch them and both saw a shadow or figure standing in the room. (The Basement) No other expereiences happened until last night. We are adding an addition onto the house and yesterday the contractors started breaking through the main house structure. Last night my baby's monitor was going nuts. The noises would get very loud and even louder if I turned the volume down. I had checked both the transmitter and receiver and both were plugged in and working properly. At about 1 am my son (6 months old) woke up in a very frightening manner and took me quite a while to calm him down. (Nothing like this has ever happened since he's born) The noises continued in the monitor all night and the baby woke up once again. The noises would only stop if I got out of bed and go into the baby's room. My house is 50+ years old and I'm not sure if any! one ever died in it or anything but I do know an old woman liver there for years and since 1990 I'm the 4th owner. Any assistance you can offer would be helpful. I'm just a little concerned it may be paranormal activity. Someone suggested I speak with my Dad who died 2+ years ago. He does linger at my mom's house and plays with ny nephew who lives there. Or at least that's the only explanation we can come to with the baby's actions and behavior there.
