I am not a professional, as you can see. We were at the Delaware Water Gap, NJ. I was using a disposable camera, 400 speed, with a flash. No one was smoking, there were no fires burning (none are allowed in this area) nothing could be seen with the naked eye, I was just taking a picture. This thing ruined what could have been a good shot of Scott.

The Lord at the Vatican. Taken April 18, 1987, at St. Peters Square,
The Vatican. I found this photo on The
Art
Bell Webpage although I have seen it in a couple other places. The picture claims to have been taken with a polaroid camera, although, I have yet to see the actual photo or at least a picture of it. This photo as well as the next 2 photos below lead me to wonder about authenticity. Throughout the 50's and 60's there was a surge of Christ in the sky photos running around. As a child in Catholic school, I recall in 5th grade, Sister Mary Joseph showing all of us a picture of Jesus in the Storm Clouds over a city in Ohio that had been devestated by tornadoes and flood. It was a very good picture, but was it genuine? It turns out that many people still have these photos, saved as family treasures and they will stand behind the authenticity of the photos with steadfast faith. The problem with this is that of all of the photos that have been turned in for analysis, each one turned out to be a double exposure.
An apparent picture of Christ through an airplane window, taken in
1963 by a young serviceman. also from The
Art
Bell Webpage. Double exposure? Trick of the light? Or a true miraculous picture of Christ? You be the judge.
Image of Jesus in the clouds after a tornado in Frankenmuth
Michigan 1996 from Mission
Net, where you can find many more pictures of miraculous and spiritual events. Again, is it a hoax? A trick of the light on the clouds? Or again, is it Christ caught on film? There are many miraculous photos out there, many with no explanation. Are they really hoaxs if they stir peoples faith and belief in God then even if they are not real, are they really all that bad?
A nice looking orb. The child in the photo appears to be scared.
She is. But not at the orb, right as the picture was snapped a band
started to play and the child was frightened by the sudden burst of
noise.
Photo Submitted by Dave. P.S. - It has been suggested that a photo of
this type is simply dust on the lens of the camera. If that was the case, you would see the orb on other photos on the same roll untill the lens was cleaned, I doubt that the dust explanation holds up in orb photos.
